Cypress Culture Club collaborated with Cypress Spanish Club to bring members a spice of what celebrating Latin American Cultures and Die de Los Muertos is all about. We had many members contribute Latin American foods to our potluck, such as Pupusas, Conchas (Mexican bread), and Spanish Rice. With the Spanish Club's vibrant gallery and Culture Club's delicious food + poppin music provided by Jocelyn Poveda, the celebration was a success!

We had an overwhelming amount of contributions of Korean and Japanese foods and snacks. Some of our favorites were kimbap, fried rice, Pocky, and Hello Panda. We also collaborated with KDC (Korean Dance Club) to bring our members an amazing performance. With all the food and Kpop music, it was a great way to start off our first potluck of the year. We hope all our members that came enjoyed it and we thank all the contributors that made the potluck possible.
On Friday, August 30th, 2019, Culture Club commenced its first meeting with a big bang! With a simple introduction of the club and its board members, we had a lot of intersted students come to the meeting and over 100 new sign ups. We hope to grow our club and serve our members in our celebration of different cultures.
